Anglers,

Welcome and thank you for fishing this years SPRO Frog Lake Guntersville Open.  IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO READ THIS PACKET!  In this packet you will find the directions for Saturday and the rules for the event.  If you have any questions at all please contact me at 602-791-0023.

This is a SPRO FROG Tournament.  Only SPRO Frogs may be used.  No other lures may be used other than SPRO Frogs.   The Cyclone Prop IS NOT a Frog bait and cannot be used.

You will be permitted to launch from any ramp on Lake Guntersville that you would like, however, you must drive over to Civitan Park by boat to complete boat check and for the tournament blast off for your flight.

You will need to arrive and have your boat in the water at the Civitan Park a minimum of 30 minutes prior to your estimated blast off time.  This will allow plenty of time for you to get through boat check and get yourself in order.  Blast off and boat check will happen at the same time.  Come by driver’s side to the “T” dock with live wells open when your number is called (see map). If you come by and your live wells are not open you will be held until your flight has completed blast off and then we will check your boat.  If your number is not checked off for blast off your catch will not count.  Once you clear boat check, head out and blast off once you are clear of boats and docks.  Talk to the boats around you and find out what numbers they are.  This will help blast off run smooth.

All anglers must keep their lifejackets on and securely fastened anytime the big motor is running.  The ignition shutoff device (kill switch) must be attached to the boat driver anytime the big motor is running.

When teams come in at the end of the day they must check in at the designated checkpoint (shown on map).  If you do not have fish to weigh and decide to pull off early please text your boat number and boater name to 602-791-0023.  This will allows us to be sure all anglers are off the water safely.

Once you check in please tie up to the designated dock space to weigh your fish.  Once your fish are weighed you may pull your boat out of the water and return to the Civitan Park for raffle and awards.

This event we will be paying 1 place for every 5 entries for place finish and will pay the top 5 largest bass.  Any ties for a place finish will go to the team with the largest fish.  Any ties for big fish will go to the team with the heaviest total weight.  BIG FISH MUST BE TAGGED!!
