Killer Swim Bait !!! August 2, 2011
Reviewer: Rich Swisstack from Cliffwood Beach , NJ United States
I was up in Rhode Island recently wet suiting out to rock piles fishing for striped bass. We would cast all night long for striper's, then on the way back to the house we would stop at a local lake and wade cast for large mouths. The lake gets very little pressure, and the yellow perch are all over the place. I figured what better way to catch the big large mouths in this spot then throw a 6 inch wicked perch swim bait at them. Well on the third cast I was not disappointed. The swim bait was inhaled by a real good large mouth weighing 6 lbs. 4 oz.  Over the next 3 day's I managed 4 bass over 6 lbs and one that looked to be a scratch over 7 but my scale battery had died. I also had many other smacks at the bait plus a few other smaller fish including perch that swam up on the bait trying to mate with it I think.  This bait looks just like the real thing in the water and the fish thought so too ! Great bait ! Thanks Spro !

Muskies and Northern Pike Love BBZ-1 January 21, 2011
Reviewer: Phillip Gutmann from Lake in the Hills, IL United States
As a professional tournament angler and guide for muskies in the upper Midwest, the Spro BBZ1 series of swimbaits in the 6 and 8 models are a great alternative muskie and northern pike presentation these fish have never seen before. The lifelike swimming action and the side toside action of the bait when lightly jerked are hard for a muskies and northern pike to resist. The 6 model is my go-to bait in the spring (April to June) and the 8 model for the remainder of the year until ice up but let the fish tell you what size they prefer. A little trick for better hookups is to upsize the size of the hooks on the baits but use a short-shank version so not to tangle. My favorites for muskies and northern pike are the wicked perch, wicked carp and the hitch patterns. With a little work and know-how, you can even customize these patterns on your own.
